Bees Sting to Death Preacher in Nigeria

LAGOS, Nigeria — A preacher was stung to death by a swarm of bees that invaded a church service in central Nigeria, Radio Nigeria reported Monday.
Scores of worshipers were stung in the incident Sunday while fleeing the swarm, which flew into the church after a farmer disturbed their hive at Ipee in Kwara state, the broadcast said.
Joseph Ogubayoma, 40, an elder of the Cherubim and Seraphim evangelical church, was stung to death when he tried to drive the bees away with a broom.
