Gerlach Holding Acquires Option for Calnetics Shares

Gerlach Holding Corp. of Chatsworth and Larry D. Sacks, a director of City of Industry-based Calnetics Corp., have acquired an option to raise their stake in Calnetics to 892,078 common shares, or 33% of the total, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Calnetics makes precision machine parts. Gerlach Holding, owned by Clinton G. and Juanita R. Gerlach, entered an option agreement Sept. 18 to buy up to 140,147 Calnetic shares from the Hollyce O. Heller Revocable Trust of 1982 and Evelyn D. Edward for $5 a share, or $700,735.
