Los Amigos Beats Workman on Late Field Goal
Jeff Burns kicked a fourth-quarter field goal to give Los Amigos High School a 17-15 victory over Workman Thursday at City of Industry.
Los Amigos (1-1) held a 14-0 in the halftime lead, but Workman scored a touchdown in both the third and fourth quarters, converting a two-point conversion to take the lead in the fourth.
Los Amigos scored first on Eddie Brinson’s 18-yard run to lead 7-0 in the first quarter.
