Rohr Industries Inc.: The Chula Vista-based aerospace concern reported revenue of $1.04 billion for fiscal 1989, a gain of 15% over last year. Earnings totaled $33.5 million, up 3% from 1988. The company said that despite record annual sales, it continued to experience “pressure on (profit) margins stemming from the costs associated with rapid growth, new program introduction and, on government programs, redefined acceptance criteria.”
