A dog and pony show will be filmed on the Los Angeles set of MCA-TV’s new “Lassie” series when the miniature horse Ragtime joins Lassie as a guest star. Ragtime’s owner, Patty Fairchild, recently won an appellate courtroom decision allowing the miniature horse to remain living indoors in Fairchild’s Thousand Oaks home. The syndicated “Lassie,” starring Dee Wallace Stone and Christopher Stone, is scheduled to debut on KHJ-TV Channel 9 in September. A firm air date has not been set.
