ENTERTAINMENT : Threlkeld Returns to CBS From NBC
NEW YORK — Richard Threlkeld, a veteran CBS News correspondent who jumped to ABC News in 1982, has returned to the fold, CBS announced today.
Threlkeld, 51, will be a CBS national correspondent based in New York City. He reports to CBS on Aug. 28.
Threlkeld was a leading CBS News correspondent, anchor and bureau chief for 15 years before he joined ABC News in January, 1982. Over the last seven years, he has reported for ABC on stories ranging from the TWA hostage crisis to the U.S. invasion of Grenada to the Falkland Islands war.
