Malaysian Oil Find

TOKYO — Arabian Oil Co., a Japanese oil developing firm, said its affiliate in Malaysia, Malaysia Barum Oil Development Co., has succeeded in exploratory drilling for oil in Sarawak, Malaysia.
The company said exploration has been conducted in the Sarawak area since December last year under a contract with Petronas, Malaysia’s state-owned oil firm.
The size of oil reserves and feasibility of commercial production have yet to be determined, the company said.
