LOCAL : Man Found Slain in Chatsworth

A 47-year-old man was found shot to death on a street in Chatsworth, the Los Angeles police Department said today.
The man, whose identity was not released pending notification of his family, was found at 11:10 p.m. Tuesday by a pedestrian at the corner of Wilbur Avenue and Blackhawk Street, Detective Sandra Palmer said.
Palmer said investigators determined that the victim was not a resident of the area but said his home had not been located. She said there was no known motive for the slaying and no suspects.
