Cathy Sherk, a six-year veteran on the LPGA Tour, qualified for a men’s professional tournament at a $100,000 golf in Port Colborne, Ontario.
Sherk, 39, a former Canadian, U.S. and world amateur champion, shot a par round of 72 to qualify for the 96-player field for the Canadian PGA tournament, which gets under way Thursday.
