Unruly Graduates
The unruly behavior of many of the graduating seniors at the UCLA commencement was disrespect at its height.
The disrobing, talking, playing volleyball, sunbathing and roaming around during the program was not only disruptive but downright disgusting.
Admittedly, the weather was hot, the speeches, for the most part, uninteresting and the program too long, but couldn’t these “educated†young adults show a little restraint and respect for their university leaders and their parents at this memorable occasion?
I would hope that university officials will review the tape of this program and take whatever steps are necessary to make their commencement program one in which everyone can be proud.
