Woman Killed, Five Hurt in Collision

A Claremont woman was killed and her husband and four children were injured in a head-on car collision near Gardnerville, Nev., with an allegedly drunk driver, authorities said.
Ann Marie Kramer, 30, of Claremont was killed in the accident late Wednesday night on U.S. 395. Eight-year-old Matthew Kramer was taken to a Reno hospital with injuries, where he was reported in serious but stable condition, said Harvey Weatherford of the Nevada Highway Patrol.
Steve Kramer, 33; Lance Kramer, 9; Helena Kramer, 13, and Luke Kramer, 11, were treated and released.
William Woods, 38, of Truckee was being investigated on suspicion of drunk driving after his car allegedly drifted over the center line and crashed into the van carrying the family.
