Alpharel announced it has been selected by General Electric Co. to supply an automated computer filing system for the Moorestown, N.J., division of GE.
The Camarillo firm, a supplier of document management software, said the software GE had chosen can store millions of documents and would enable the GE division’s purchase-order department to replace its paper files with electronic ones. Alpharel did not specify the size of GE’s order.
Alpharel said it planned to deliver the software by the third quarter of 1989.
