Investigators found signs of forced entry to a Pomona home where an elderly man and his sister were found bludgeoned to death, but the motive and killer remained unknown, police said Monday.
There were signs of entry at a bathroom window, said Sgt. Gary Elofson.
The bodies of Henry Miller, 88, and Nina Reynolds, 81, were found Sunday morning by family members. Each victim was on the floor of their bedroom. Elofson said autopsies had yet to be performed and the time of death was not known. Investigators did not know what kind of weapon was used.
Relatives were asked to begin an inventory of the home to determine if anything was stolen.
