Voorhees Second in Junior Golf

Heidi Voorhees shot eight-over-par 80 to earn a share of second place after the first round of the Edgewood Tahoe Junior Golf Classic at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course in Stateline, Nev.
Voorhees, who attends Notre Dame High, is six shots behind Sheri Vincent of San Diego, the girls’ 12-18 division leader. Voorhees’ Notre Dame teammate, Emilee Klein, shot 86 and is in 12th place.
