Laguna Hills : Meeting on Cityhood Scheduled for Monday

An informational meeting on proposed cityhood for Laguna Hills is scheduled Monday at Leisure World, Laguna Hills.
The meeting, which is open to the public, will begin at 7:30 p.m. in Leisure World’s Clubhouse No. 5. Representatives from county agencies and surrounding cities will be on hand to provide information on what cityhood could mean for Laguna Hills.
Area voters will be asked to decide whether to form a city of Laguna Hills in a special election on June 6.
The meeting, sponsored by the pro-cityhood group, Communitywide Committee for Laguna Hills, is not scheduled as a debate on the controversial cityhood question.
