Response on Education for the Gifted
Carolyn Bogad’s excessive lack of praise for my views on education for the gifted (Letters, March 19) is something I can live with. I AM curious to know, however, how she could determine that I was both uneducated and insensitive?
Since I have never met her, I can, I suspect, surmise that she has drawn this educated conclusion from the fact that my views do not agree with hers.
Maybe she doesn’t realize that disparate ideas expand one’s mind, not contract it.
