Bernard LaCroute has resigned as executive vice president of Sun Microsystems Inc., a Mountain View firm that makes computer workstations. Scott MacNealy, the company’s president and chief executive, will assume LaCroute’s duties on an interim basis. LaCroute will stay with the company until July 1 and will remain on the board until October.
