Farrell Wins Dive Title at U.S. Championships

BOCA RATON, Fla. — Julie Farrell of Holt, Mich., scored 454.35 points in 10 dives Wednesday to win the one-meter springboard title at the U.S. diving championships.
Reyne Borup of Sayreville, N.J., was second with 440.04 points. Wendy Wyland of Boca Raton, Fla., who took a bronze medal in the 10-meter platform event at the 1984 Olympics, was third with 424.27 points.
