La Jolla’s Anderson Says She’ll Play Basketball at UCLA
Nicole Anderson of La Jolla High School said Tuesday she will sign a national letter of intent to play basketball at UCLA. Anderson said she will sign with the Bruins today, the first day athletes can sign letters of intent during the national spring signing period.
Anderson, who visited San Diego State, USC and UCLA, was a second-team all-section selection as a junior. This season, Anderson, a 5-foot-4 guard, was averaging 22 points in 12 games before cracking a bone in her hand against Serra in January.
