A man who was killed in a traffic collision at Victory and Balboa boulevards in Encino was identified Tuesday as 73-year-old Mortimer Arak of Reseda.
Arak, a passenger in a car driven by his 36-year-old son, Randall, died when the car struck another vehicle and careened onto a bike path at 10:25 a.m. Monday, Los Angeles Police Traffic Investigator Doug Burns said.
Three bicyclists and the drivers of the two cars were slightly injured, and a fourth bicyclist had a broken leg, Burns said.
