San Fernando picked a bad time to suffer its first loss of the high school soccer season: the second round of the City playoffs.

But a pair of second-half Bell goals brought the Tigers’ season to a close in a 2-1 loss at Bell on Thursday.

San Fernando (5-1-6) opened the scoring 37 minutes into the first half on a long pass that Bell goalkeeper Israel Martinez misjudged.
