Upland Eliminates Servite in 4-A Match

John O’Brien scored with a minute left to give Upland High School a 3-2 victory over Servite in the Southern Section 4-A wild-card soccer match Wednesday at Upland.
Upland (13-6-6) had tied the score with three minutes left on a goal by Bob Stephenson. O’Brien then scored off a corner kick on a header. Steve Brezinski scored for Servite (5-10-5).
In a girls’ 1-A wild-card match:
Santa Margarita 4, St. Bernard 3--Jamie Braun’s had two goals and Allie Werve and Jennifer Fritz one each for Santa Margarita (12-4-2).
