The Port of Long Beach has realigned its top management staff. Executive Director Joseph F. Prevratil, who took over last year, has created three managing director positions to oversee the port’s 10 major departments.
Leland R. Hill, formerly the director of planning, is now the managing director of planning and engineering. Paul E. Brown, who served as interim port director prior to Prevratil’s arrival, is now managing director of administration and maintenance. And Steven R. Dillenbeck was named managing director of commerce and development.
The three managing directors, a yet-to-be-named director of communications and former port director James H. McJunkin, now the international trade and marketing adviser, will report directly to Prevratil.
