Cudahy : Recall Bid Dies as Petition Falls Short of Signatures

Opponents of City Councilmen John Robertson and Joseph Graffio have failed to muster enough support to force a recall election. The recall organizers were unable to gather a required number of voter signatures on a petition due Feb. 10.
The group needed signatures from 25% of the city’s 3,348 registered voters but had only gathered 780 when the deadline arrived, according to Mike Rodriguez, leader of the recall attempt.
