IN BRIEF : Seely to Coach Colt Special Teams
INDIANAPOLIS — Brad Seely, offensive line coach the past five years at Oklahoma State, signed today as special teams coach with the Indianapolis Colts. Seely, who previously served as offensive line coach under the Colts’ Ron Meyer at Southern Methodist University, was the fifth former assistant to Meyer hired since the end of the 1988 season.
The other four are offensive coordinator Larry Kennan, offensive line coach Dante Scarnecchia, receivers coach Milt Jackson and defensive line coach Bill Muir. At Oklahoma State, Seely managed the blocking schemes that helped Barry Sanders set 23 NCAA rushing records en route to the 1988 Heisman Trophy.
