Liberating Letters

Instead of dividing people into “leftie-feminists,” “Phyllis Schlafly throwbacks,” and the like (“Talking Truth About Semiliberated Women,” by Sylvie Drake, Jan. 29), why not simply acknowledge the justness and inevitability of the women’s movement and look upon its opponents the same way you would look upon opponents of the civil rights movement?
