UNLV Defeats San Diego State in Men’s Tennis

San Diego State lost to visiting Nevada Las Vegas, 5-1, in men’s tennis on Friday at SDSU. The Aztecs’ only victory came in No. 6 singles where Bill Kearsley defeated Yusa Tsunoda, 6-4, 6-2. SDSU dropped to 1-5; UNLV improved to 3-2.
The University of San Diego defeated Loyola Marymount, 7-2, at USD. Curtis Badian led the Titans at No. 2 singles with a 6-2, 6-0 victory over Todd Sampson. USD improved to 5-2.
USD Coach Ed Collins will conduct a free clinic for all ages and abilities today from 1 to 3 p.m. at USD’s West Courts.
