Local News in Brief : Motorcyclist Killed in Sepulveda Accident

Amotorcyclist who rode into oncoming traffic on a curve in Sepulveda was struck by a car and killed, Los Angeles police said.
Kevin Bolger, 24, of Northridge was fatally injured about 12:40 a.m. Friday when his motorcycle struck a car driven by Syed Mohammed Ali, 24, of Panorama City on Roscoe Boulevard near Hayvenhurst Avenue, police said.
Ali was not injured. Bolger died shortly after the accident at Northridge Hospital Medical Center.
Officer Kevin Coppin said Bolger was driving east on Roscoe when he accelerated on a curve and drifted into the westbound lanes. Ali attempted to steer his car out of the way but could not avoid the collision, Coppin said.
