NATION : Muslim Rebels Shell Soviet Convoy

MOSCOW — Muslim rebels shelled a convoy of Soviet troops withdrawing from Afghanistan, killing a driver, Soviet television said today.
The attack Wednesday was the first time rebels had fired on a withdrawing convoy of Soviet forces in the final phase of their pullout, due to end Wednesday.
