A bank robber who simulated having a handgun robbed the Bank of America branch at 3101 University Ave. of $1,700 Tuesday, police said.
The man, described by police as 30 years old, with light, reddish hair and a gruff voice, escaped on foot after demanding money from three tellers.
Police said he was 5-foot-10, about 165 pounds and was wearing a blue-gray down jacket.
