An internal investigation has concluded that Arizona State officials and a campus psychiatrist did not violate university policy by prescribing a mood-altering drug to a Sun Devil basketball player.
Eric Holloway, a forward from 1984-88, had filed a lawsuit seeking unspecified damages against the school and Coach Steve Patterson, among others.
Holloway said he was prescribed Nardil, a drug used to treat depression, by campus psychiatrist James Gough in 1985 and 1986.
