Thoughts on Abortion

Re: “Psychology of Abortion.” What upset me was the interpretation of Jill Lodato’s reaction. She represented the side that abortion is psychologically damaging. Well, if one looks at her statements, they will see that not the abortion, but her lack of assertiveness is what most likely caused the anguish. She states, “At that point, I was determined to have the baby,” yet she still went through with her abortion.

I feel that this article clearly supports the need for counseling before an abortion, but does not in any way add validity to the anti-abortion view.
