Laventhol & Horwath, a leading accounting and consultancy firm, and Los Angeles-based Friedman, Rosenthal & Co., an accounting firm that specializes in the apparel and metals industries as well as real estate, have merged. Founded in 1947, Friedman, Rosenthal & Co. has four partners and 16 staff members, all of whom have joined L&H.; Its merger with L&H; also adds to the larger firm’s existing expertise in financial, tax and business consulting services for the automotive, entertainment, health-care and leisure industries, as well as the legal profession.
