Flamemaster Reports Gain in Income, Loss in Revenue

Flamemaster Corp. reported net income of $135,000, or 11 cents a share, for the fourth quarter that ended Sept. 30, compared to $120,000, or 10 cents a share, in the same period the year before. Revenue fell 31% to $1.1 million compared to $1.6 million in the same period a year earlier.
The Sun Valley-based company makes flame-retardant coatings and sealants.
For the fiscal year that ended Sept. 30, Flamemaster posted a profit of $438,000, or 28 cents a share, compared to $443,000, or 28 cents a share, a year earlier. Revenue was down 13% to $5.1 million from $5.8 million the year before.
