Local News in Brief : Garden Grove : Bicyclist Critical After Hit-and-Run Accident

A 67-year-old bicyclist was in critical condition Thursday after he was struck by a hit-and-run driver while crossing Euclid Street, police said.
Jung Kim of Garden Grove was crossing at Woodbury Avenue at 5:28 p.m. Wednesday when he was hit by a blue Toyota pickup truck traveling south in the left lane on Euclid, Sgt. Dan Lyons said.
Kim was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange, where he was being treated for severe trauma, hospital officials said.
“Kim had a bicycle, and he was either riding or pushing the bicycle” across the street, Lyons said.
Witnesses gave police a license plate number, and officers located the truck in Fountain Valley but could not find the driver, who was still being sought Thursday.
