A Communist Party daily called on the Yugoslav Parliament to replace Premier Branko Mikulic and his government because of failure to resolve the nation’s severe economic crisis. “Mikulic’s government must fall because it was not able to carry out its own programs and to create a climate for an authentic start of economic reforms,” the Borba newspaper said in an editorial. Yugoslavia is grappling with 250% inflation, 15% unemployment, a $21-billion foreign debt and growing labor unrest. Mikulic, who came to power in 1986, indicated in a recent interview that he and his government have no intention of resigning.
