Christmas Eve Collision Kills 6 in Family, Friend

KNOX, Ind. — A family was opening Christmas presents when a somber police officer came to the door with shocking news: Six relatives and a friend had been killed in an accident when on their way to visit the home.
Six members of the Davis family and the fiancee of one died Saturday when their westbound car veered into the path of an eastbound dump truck about 2 miles southwest of this northern Indiana town, authorities said.
