Cal State Long Beach Resumes Play Against Alabama Birmingham

The Cal State Long Beach men’s basketball team will play Alabama Birmingham tonight at Birmingham, Ala.
The game will be televised by ESPN at 6:30 (PST).
The 49ers, who haven’t played in 12 days, are 2-5. They are led by freshman guard Brian Jones, who is averaging 14 points a game.
UAB, coached by Gene Bartow, is 6-2.
