Local News in Brief : Man’s Body Found on Street in Tujunga

The body of a man who had been beaten to death was found early Christmas Day on a Tujunga road, Los Angeles police said.
The body, identified as that of Eugene Cooper, 28, was discovered in the 7600 block of Hillrose Avenue about 5 a.m., police said.
Cooper had been struck several times in the head and body, police said. No suspects were in custody Sunday, and an autopsy is scheduled, police said.
