The Colleges : Chapman Holds On to Beat UC Davis

DAVIS, Calif. — Bryan Richetto scored 17 points Thursday to lead a balanced offense as Chapman College beat UC Davis, 80-69.
With 1:14 left in the game and Chapman leading, 69-66, the Panthers made all of eight of their free throws down the stretch.
After 10 lead changes in the first half, UC Davis led at halftime, 34-33. The Panthers built an 8-point lead with 9:27 left before the Aggies got to within 62-61 with 6:28 to go.
Chapman (7-3) had four players other than Richetto score in double figures. Roger Middleton scored 14, Russ Ortega 13, Kevin Stafford 12 and Matt Honikel 11.
UC Davis (3-6) was led by Matt Cordova with a game-high 19 points and 13 rebounds.
