IN BRIEF : 2 Bronco Players Undergo Surgery

DENVER — Denver Broncos linebacker Jim Ryan underwent successful arthroscopic surgery on his left knee Thursday and will begin rehabilitation Jan. 3, trainer Steve Antonopulos said. Nose tackle Andrew Provence had calcium deposits removed from his left elbow, also Thursday. Provence will wear a splint for a week and begin rehabilitation in early January. Defensive end Rulon Jones is scheduled for arthroscopic knee surgery Jan. 5.
