Rush Carries Valley to Tournament Title

Tisa Rush came off the bench to score a game-high 17 points as Valley College routed El Camino, 74-47, in the championship game of the Riverside women’s basketball tournament Wednesday.

Ruth Aguilar, the tournament’s most valuable player, scored 15 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for Valley (13-3) in the game at Riverside City College. Teammate Shagarro Lattin (4 points, 10 rebounds) also was named to the all-tournament team.
