HIGH SCHOOLS : San Fernando, Places 4 Players on All-City 4-A Football Team

Valley high school teams, led by San Fernando High with 4 selections, have placed 10 players on the All-City Section 4-A Division football team.
The Tigers, co-champions of the North Valley League, advanced to the semifinals of the 4-A playoffs, placed junior quarterback Michael Wynn and 3 seniors--wide receiver Sean Williams, kicker Andrew Munoz and defensive back Howard McCrary.
Placing 2 players each were Taft, the West Valley champion, and Granada Hills, the North Valley co-champion. Senior running back Kelvin Byrd and senior lineman Erin Reeder represented Taft. Chosen from Granada Hills were linebacker Sebastian Glaze and defensive lineman Marrio Walker, both seniors.
Rounding out the Valley selections were Cleveland senior defensive back Sean Burwell and Kennedy senior linebacker Lester Larry.
In the 3-A, 3 Monroe seniors led a group of 8 Valley players named. Running back Curtis Scott, wide receiver Terry London and offensive lineman Reggie Anderson represented Monroe, the Mid-Valley League champion.
Reseda placed senior defensive lineman Earl Negrete and senior linebacker Aaron Brumfield. Sylmar was represented by junior running back Jerome Casey and senior linebacker Martin Llerenas, and North Hollywood was represented by senior tight end Russell Greene.
