The Parliament of the Yugoslav republic of Bosnia has voted to fire senior officials of the ruling Communist Party who acquired property illegally, the Tanjug news agency reported. “Those who have abused power will simply have to go and take the consequences if illegal acts are uncovered,” Bosnia’s Parliament president, Zlatan Karavdic, told reporters. The corruption scandal involves a number of villas built by politicians with illegal loans on state land in the Bosnian seaside report of Neum.
