The Clippers filed suit in Superior Court against their former center, Bill Walton, contending he breached his contract by engaging in activities that impaired his health, according to court documents.
The Clippers are seeking unspecified damages and a court declaration to be excused from its financial obligations to Walton, who played with chronic foot injuries for the team between 1979 and 1985.
