A reporter in a Ventura radio station’s traffic plane helped police apprehend a burglary suspect they had chased for more than 40 minutes. KVEN-AM reporter Rich Gualano provided police with directions as they wound their way through Ventura, Santa Paula and over three freeways before capturing Terry Joe Barry, 28, of Ventura, for allegedly stealing a television set from a motel.
