California’s wine-grape growers said they will no longer hold their trade association’s annual meetings in San Francisco in response to the city’s decision to support a boycott of California table grapes, saying the boycott reflects “a most troubling anti-agriculture attitude.” Last week, the 3.3-million member American Farm Bureau Federation pulled its 1991 annual meeting out of the city in protest to the Dec. 1 resolution by the San Francisco Board of Supervisors, as did the Western Growers Assn.
