Valley 90, Grossmont 53--Shaggarro Lattin had 20 points and 11 rebounds and Ruth Aguilar added 17 points as the Monarchs (10-3) ran away with the nonconference game at Valley. The Monarchs scored 51 points in the second half.
CS Northridge 75, Sonoma State 35--Julie Arlotto scored 21 points and Chris Cavalin added 12 points and 14 rebounds as all 11 Lady Matadors scored in the nonconference game at Sonoma State.
“Our defense took charge,” Northridge Coach Leslie Milke said. “We were real aggressive with our half-court traps and full-court press.”
