IN BRIEF : Two More Broncos on Injured List
- Share via
DENVER — The Denver Broncos added two names to their injury report today at a position they can ill afford to be short-handed.
The Broncos, the NFL’s worst team at defensing the run, could be without backup defensive linemen Freddie Gilbert and Shawn Knight.
Gilbert was listed as questionable with a calf injury, and Knight was termed doubtful with a groin injury.
The injuries leave Rulon Jones as the only healthy backup in the line.
Cornerback Mark Haynes, who hasn’t practiced this week, is doubtful with a sprained ankle. Steve Wilson will replace Haynes, and rookie Kevin Guidry should see extensive action as a backup.
