Ambassador Lester B. Korn, who recently resigned as U.S. representative to the U.N. Economic and Social Council, and his wife, Carolbeth, have committed $1 million to the John E. Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA, Chancellor Charles E. Young announced.
An alumnus of UCLA’s School of Management, Korn is co-founder and chairman of Korn/Ferry International, an executive search firm.
The convocation hall of the new management center at UCLA will be named in honor of the Korns.
The new facility will be built at the northwestern portion of the UCLA campus near the Sunset Bouelvard/Westwood Plaza entrance. The complex is expected to be completed in early 1994.
